ESU's 63rd annual season of Summer Theatre opens its final show July 26-29 at 7:30 p.m. with Tom Dudzick's charming new comedy "Miracle on South Divison Street," directed by Bob Hart.

This show features ragtime music, sketch comedy and landmark composers of the early 20th century, including Irving Berlin, George Gershwin and George M. Cohan.

Emporia State University Theatre is hard at work on "The Birds: A Modern Adaptation" by Don Zolidis. "The Birds" is the first collaborative project between ESU Theatre and ESU's newly reinstated chapter of Alpha Psi Omega, an honorary theatre society, giving students the opportunity to take on more of the production responsibilities.
