Homecoming Festivities Unite ESU Alumni, Students and Community

Emporia, KS (10/09/2023) — ESU welcomes alumni, students and the Emporia community to enjoy a week full of special events. Homecoming 2023 kicks off on Friday, Oct. 20, with a baseball alumni golf tournament and concludes with the final performance of the Homecoming musical "Little Shop of Horrors" on Sunday, Oct. 29. Special reunion groups include Class of 1973 (50 Year Class), Greek Alumni, Softball and Baseball.

Friday, Oct. 20

  • Baseball Alumni Golf Tournament, Emporia Municipal Golf Course, 1133 S. K-99, 10 a.m., $30. Registration required.
  • Baseball Varsity Practice, Trusler Sports Complex, 3 p.m.
  • Baseball Alumni Reception, 402 Merchant St., 6 p.m. Registration required.

Saturday, Oct. 21

  • Baseball Old Timers Game, Trusler Sports Complex, 10 a.m. Registration required. Open to graduates of 2014 or earlier.
  • Baseball Varsity Batting Practice, Trusler Sports Complex, 12:30 p.m.
  • Baseball Alumni Batting Practice, Trusler Sports Complex, 1:15 p.m.
  • Baseball Varsity Infield, Trusler Sports Complex, 2:15 p.m.
  • Baseball Alumni Infield, Trusler Sports Complex, 2:25 p.m.

Wednesday, Oct. 25

Thursday, Oct. 26
