ESU Will Be Closed on Jan. 9
Emporia, KS (01/02/2025) — Emporia State University will be closed Thursday, Jan. 9, 2025, in observance of the National Day of Mourning for former President Jimmy Carter. Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly issued an executive order on Tuesday closing all State of Kansas offices to honor the former U.S. President and designated Jan. 9 as a paid legal holiday for state employees.
