Enjoy ESU Athletics FREE for 2025-26
Promotion part of ESU Year of Celebration
Emporia, KS (07/23/2025) — Emporia State University is excited to make the first ESU Year of Celebration Announcement! FREE General Admission to all regular season Emporia State University athletic events for the 2025-26 academic year!
"We want to recognize and celebrate ESU's transformation with our community as we grow Hornet Nation," said ESU President Ken Hush in announcing the plan.
ESU encourages the community to invite someone new to the game - someone who's never felt the electricity of a Saturday at Welch or the roar of White Auditorium. They can experience it all, for free.
"What better way to welcome new fans, create lasting memories and build the next generation of Hornets?" Hush added.
The 2025 ESU football season kicks off at home with the ESU Hornets taking on Minot State in Welch Stadium on Thursday, August 28 at 7 p.m. Come fill the stands and cheer on the Hornets to victory!
Fans who prefer reserved seats with chairbacks and VIP packages will still find those for sale online.
