Emporia Writers Group reading hosted at ESU library

Emporia, KS (04/10/2026) — Emporia State University Special Collections and Archives presents a reading by members of the Emporia Writers Group with the theme of "work in progress" at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 15. The event will be held in the William Allen White Library Learning Commons on the ESU campus.

Guests are invited to join local authors including Tracy Million Simmons, Lindsey Bartlett, Cheryl Unruh, Curtis Becker, Angel Edenburn, Brenda White, Lisa Moritz, Rachelle Smith, Hazel Hart, Michelle Zumbrum, Luke Johnson and Kerry Moyer.

The event is free and no registration is required. Refreshments will be provided.
