Emporia State University Announces NEW $1,000 Legacy Scholarship

Renewable $1,000 Scholarship for Children of ESU Alumni

Emporia, KS (06/25/2024) — Emporia State University announces launch of the Legacy Scholarship program. Legacy scholarships are designed for children of ESU alumni who are pursuing full-time undergraduate degrees.

Legacy students will now receive a $1,000 scholarship, renewable for up to four years. An incentive for new students, the scholarships will be starting this fall and will be applied to both new and returning students.

ESU allows students to "stack" scholarships, meaning this new Legacy Scholarship will be in addition to all the other scholarships for which they qualify. Further, this will be in addition to DECREASED tuition + fees and the many new scholarships available including a new $1,000 residence hall scholarship for students for students living on campus.

This is another demonstration of Emporia State University's commitment to attacking and lowering the cost of higher education for our students and families.
