ESU Library Celebrates Literacy with Bilingual Event

Emporia, KS (04/24/2024) — Emporia State University Libraries and Archives will host a bilingual literacy event to celebrate and promote literacy in children on Saturday, April 27, from 10 a.m. to noon. The event will take place in the grassy area in Kellogg Circle near William Allen White Library. Rain moves activities inside the library.

The event features story stations, crafts, games and prizes. Participants can receive a book, T-shirt and candy while supplies last. Interactive activities include making your own Luchador mask and maracas.

The event is free and open to the community.
