Zachary Shaw honored at special Emporia State commencement ceremony

Zachary Nicholas Aaron Shaw of Bates City, Missouri, was one of six Emporia State University baseball players who celebrated commencement on the diamond during the NCAA Division II Baseball Central Regional tournament.

The six missed the university's May 13 commencement ceremonies to play in their conference tournament. On May 18, ESU President Allison Garrett honored each of them at home plate of Glennen Field in Emporia.

Shaw graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Business degree in Management . magna cum laude
