Skyler Delmott Earns Research Grant From Emporia State University

Skyler Delmott of Emporia, Kan., was awarded a $500 graduate student research grant for spring 2011. Delmott's research project was "Zebra mussel (Dreissena polymorpha) gametogenesis and growth rate in Marion Reservoir, Kansas" with David Edds as faculty advisor.

The awards were given by the Research and Grants Center at Emporia State University. The mission of the Research and Grants Center is to promote, facilitate and encourage faculty, staff and students in seeking external support for research and scholarly or creative projects.
