Sayaka Sensui a Candidate for Undergraduate Degree at Emporia State University

Sayaka Sensui of Kwagoe, Japan, was a candidate for undergraduate graduation from Emporia State University during commencement exercises May 18. Sensui earned a bachelor of arts degree in modern languages and literatures with a minor in music.

More than 600 students were candidates for undergraduate degrees.

Commencement speakers included Tim Emert, chairman of the Kansas Board of Regents. The commencement address was delivered by Dale Cushinberry, a member of the 2012 Emporia State University Distinguished Alumni class.
