Rudyard Paine a Candidate for Undergraduate Degree at Emporia State University

Rudyard Q Paine of Wichita, Kansas, was a candidate for undergraduate graduation from Emporia State University during commencement exercises May 17.

Paine earned a bachelor of interdisciplinary studies degree with a minor in political science.

More than 600 students were candidates for undergraduate degrees.

Commencement speakers included Helen Van Etten of the Kansas Board of Regents. The commencement address was delivered by Ed O'Malley, president and CEO of the Kansas Leadership Center.
