Nacoya Copeland a Candidate for Undergraduate Degree at Emporia State University

Nacoya Copeland of Lawrence, Kan., was a candidate for undergraduate graduation from Emporia State University during commencement exercises May 18. Copeland earned a bachelor of science degree in health promotion.

More than 600 students were candidates for undergraduate degrees.

Commencement speakers included Tim Emert, chairman of the Kansas Board of Regents. The commencement address was delivered by Dale Cushinberry, a member of the 2012 Emporia State University Distinguished Alumni class.
