Micheal Torres graduates from Emporia State University

Hats off to the more than 1,000 candidates for May graduation at Emporia State University. Micheal Ryan Torres of Emporia, Kansas, graduated May 16 cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Modern Language with a minor in Business and a concentration in Public Relations.

Joe Bain, a member of the Kansas Board of Regents, spoke at both the baccalaureate and graduate ceremonies. Dr. Donald S. Miller, retired business professor and 2005 Roe R. Cross Distinguished Professor, addressed the baccalaureate crowd.
