Maria Castro Munoz wins award at Research and Creativity Day

Maria Castro Munoz was recognized for work during the annual Research and Creativity Day at Emporia State University.

Castro Munoz of Lima, Peru, a Senior majoring in Biology, won the Phi Kappa Phi award for Best Undergraduate Abstract and $100 prize for "Low Oxygen Impairs Intestinal Response to Bacteria."
