Maria Castro Munoz graduates from Emporia State University

Hats off to the more than 1,000 candidates for May graduation at Emporia State University. Maria Claudia Castro Munoz of Lima, Peru, graduated May 16 summa cum laude and with high honors with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology with a minor in Chemistry .

Joe Bain, a member of the Kansas Board of Regents, spoke at both the baccalaureate and graduate ceremonies. Dr. Donald S. Miller, retired business professor and 2005 Roe R. Cross Distinguished Professor, addressed the baccalaureate crowd.
