Logan Sleezer Attends Kansas Natural Resources Conference

Logan Sleezer of Olpe, Kansas, was part of a contingent of Emporia State biology students and faculty who attended the Kansas Natural Resources Conference in Wichita.

Sleezer is a senior.

After the conference, ESU biology alumnus Stan Roth, who received the prestigious Kansas Conservation Champion award at the conference, accompanied a group of students from the ESU Student Chapter of The Wildlife Society and Dr. Bill Jensen on a field trip to the Red Hills region of Kansas. The trip served as data collection for a undergrad student's project as well as being an enjoyable outing in a unique region of Kansas.

Also at the conference, the ESU Student Chapter of The Wildlife Society held a fundraising raffle jointly with the Kansas State Student Chapter of TWS that raised over $1,000 in proceeds for these student organizations.
