Lindsey Smith Receives Emporia State University Scholarship

Lindsey Smith of Cunningham, Kan., has received the Shepherd University Scholars Fund, McPherson Family Scholars Fund, LeRoy J. Schnittker and Kala Musick Biology Scholarship Fund, Dr. John and Ruth Breukelman Scholarship and Dorothy and Fred Messenger Scholarship for the 2011-12 academic year at Emporia State University.

Scholarships are helping almost 1,400 Emporia State University students attending classes this academic year. The 2011-12 allocation of scholarship awards, at $1,836,727, is helping support the educational dreams of students in Kansas, 18 other states and 10 foreign countries.
