Kayla McKinney a Candidate for Undergraduate Degree at Emporia State University

Kayla Ann McKinney of Olathe, Kan., is a candidate for undergraduate graduation from Emporia State University during commencement exercises Dec. 14. The ceremony begins at 9:30 a.m. at White Auditorium, 111 E. Sixth Ave., in Emporia.

McKinney has earned a bachelor of science in education degree in English with a minor in creative writing.

Nearly 300 students are candidates for undergraduate degrees.

Commencement speakers include Shange Bangerter of the Kansas Board of Regents. The commencement address will be delivered by Dr. David Edds, 2013 Roe R. Cross Distinguished Professor.
