Katherine Slayton graduates from Emporia State University

Hats off to the more than 1,000 candidates for May graduation at Emporia State University. Katherine Alexandra Slayton of Tecumseh, Kansas, graduated May 16 summa cum laude and with high honors with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Ethnic Gender Studies .

Joe Bain, a member of the Kansas Board of Regents, spoke at both the baccalaureate and graduate ceremonies. Dr. Donald S. Miller, retired business professor and 2005 Roe R. Cross Distinguished Professor, addressed the baccalaureate crowd.
