Hinano Niahiako inducted into honor society at Emporia State University

Hinano Niahiako of Miki, Japan, is among more than 70 first-year students inducted into the Phi Eta Sigma honor society at Emporia State University on Oct. 4.

Phi Eta Sigma is the national scholastic honor society for students with an average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale. It is the greatest scholastic distinction a first-year student can attain.

Niahiako is a Sophomore Pre-Nursing major.
