Harriel Mack in Emporia State production of ''The Dinner Party'

2016 Jun 20

Harriel Mack of Newton, Kansas, is part of cast and crew presenting "The Dinner Party." Written by Neil Simon, this romantic comedy involves six people invited to dine at a fine Parisian restaurant, unaware of who the other guests will be or why they were invited.

Tossed together in a private dining room, Andre Bouville, Yvonne Fouchet, Gabrielle Buonocelli, Mariette Levieux, Claude Pichon and Albert Donay all have a sneaking suspicion that this unorthodox dinner party will forever change their lives. Frequently hilarious but also dangerously serious, "The Dinner Party" is an invitation you'll be glad to accept.

Mack, a junior communications major, works in the scene shop.

"The Dinner Party" is under the direction of Emporia State alum Bob Hart. Assisting with the production are technical director Chris Lohkamp and scenographer Rick Rassmussen. "The Dinner Party" runs June 29 through July 2 at 7:30 pm. All performances will be in the Karl C. Bruder Theatre located at 1301 Market St. For tickets to this performance, visit the Memorial Union Ticket Office or call 620-341-6378.
