Emporia State Student-Athlete Jennifer Heerey Earns Academic Honors

Jennifer Heerey of Wichita, Kan., earned academic honors from the MIAA conference.

Heerey, who competes in softball for Emporia State University, was named a Scholar-Athlete having a 3.5 GPA and earning All-MIAA athletics honors.

Emporia State University, an NCAA Division 2 institution, competes in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletic Association in football; volleyball, baseball, softball, women's soccer and basketball, tennis, track and field and cross country for both men and women.
