Ebrahim Kayali to Present Research at Kansas Capitol

Ebrahim Kayali of Istanbul, Turkey, is one of five Emporia State undergraduate students presenting research posters at the state Capitol on Thursday, Feb. 18 for the annual Undergraduate Research Day at the Capitol.

Undergraduate students from each of the state's public universities will present their research in the Capitol Rotunda from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event is intended to inform legislators and the public about the quality of research being conducted by undergraduate students and the benefits to the state from this research.

Kayali, a Senior Computer Science major, will present "The Piezoelectric Shoes: Generate Energy from Human Motion."
