Ciera Symmonds graduates from Emporia State University

Hats off to the more than 1,000 candidates for May graduation at Emporia State University. Ciera Nicole Symmonds of Emporia, Kansas, graduated May 16 cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History with a minor in Modern Language .

Joe Bain, a member of the Kansas Board of Regents, spoke at both the baccalaureate and graduate ceremonies. Dr. Donald S. Miller, retired business professor and 2005 Roe R. Cross Distinguished Professor, addressed the baccalaureate crowd.
