Christine Tompkins Receives Emporia State University Scholarship

Christine Tompkins of Ramah, Colo., has received the James and Ralphea Hill Scholarship Fund, Frank A. and Bertha R. Beach Memorial Scholarship and Calvin and Fern Garrison Scholarship for the 2011-12 academic year at Emporia State University.

Scholarships are helping almost 1,400 Emporia State University students attending classes this academic year. The 2011-12 allocation of scholarship awards, at $1,836,727, is helping support the educational dreams of students in Kansas, 18 other states and 10 foreign countries.
