Carolyn Wallace graduates from Emporia State University

Hats off to the more than 1,000 candidates for May graduation at Emporia State University. Carolyn Marie Wallace of Olathe, Kansas, graduated May 16 summa cum laude with a B.S. in Education degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Middle-level Social Sciences Licensure and English as a Second Language.

Joe Bain, a member of the Kansas Board of Regents, spoke at both the baccalaureate and graduate ceremonies. Dr. Donald S. Miller, retired business professor and 2005 Roe R. Cross Distinguished Professor, addressed the baccalaureate crowd.
