Candice Brooks a Candidate for Undergraduate Degree at Emporia State University

Candice Leann Brooks of Kansas City, Kansas, was a candidate for undergraduate graduation from Emporia State University during commencement exercises May 17.

Brooks earned a bachelor of interdisciplinary studies degree with a minor in leadership.

More than 600 students were candidates for undergraduate degrees.

Commencement speakers included Helen Van Etten of the Kansas Board of Regents. The commencement address was delivered by Ed O'Malley, president and CEO of the Kansas Leadership Center.
