Billy Garner graduates from Emporia State University

Hats off to the more than 1,000 candidates for May graduation at Emporia State University. Billy Donovan Garner of Meriden, Kansas, graduated May 16 magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science .

Joe Bain, a member of the Kansas Board of Regents, spoke at both the baccalaureate and graduate ceremonies. Dr. Donald S. Miller, retired business professor and 2005 Roe R. Cross Distinguished Professor, addressed the baccalaureate crowd.
