April Lemon completes Emporia State degree during summer

April Dawn Lemon of Holton, Kansas, completed the requirements for a degree in August. Lemon earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Art with a concentration in Glass.

Students who complete degrees in the summer can choose to go through commencement exercises either in spring before final completion or winter after completion.
