Amanda Heiniger a Candidate for Undergraduate Degree at Emporia State University

Amanda Renee Heiniger of Sabetha, Kansas, was a candidate for undergraduate graduation from Emporia State University during commencement exercises May 17.

Heiniger earned a bachelor of arts degree in sociology with a minor in crime and delinquency studies.

More than 600 students were candidates for undergraduate degrees.

Commencement speakers included Helen Van Etten of the Kansas Board of Regents. The commencement address was delivered by Ed O'Malley, president and CEO of the Kansas Leadership Center.
