Alisha Sheafer a Candidate for Undergraduate Degree at Emporia State University

Alisha Sheafer of Emporia, Kan., was a candidate for undergraduate graduation from Emporia State University during commencement exercises May 18. Sheafer earned a bachelor of fine arts degree in art with a minor in art history.

More than 600 students were candidates for undergraduate degrees.

Commencement speakers included Tim Emert, chairman of the Kansas Board of Regents. The commencement address was delivered by Dale Cushinberry, a member of the 2012 Emporia State University Distinguished Alumni class.
