Alexander Turley candidate for degree from Emporia State University

Hats off to the more than 1,000 candidates for spring graduation at Emporia State University on May 14. Alexander Cole Turley of Emporia, Kansas, will graduate May 14 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication with a minor in Ethnic Gender Studies with a concentration in Critical & Cultural Commun.

Undergraduates will receive their degrees during baccalaureate ceremonies at 9:30 a.m. at White Auditorium, 111 E. Sixth Ave. At 2 p.m., graduate students will be hooded at Albert Taylor Hall in Plumb Hall on the Emporia State campus.

Ann Brandau-Murguia, a member of the Kansas Board of Regents, will speak at both the baccalaureate and graduate ceremonies. Dr. James Persinger, professor of psychology and 2015 Roe R. Cross Distinguished Professor, will address the baccalaureate crowd.
