White Library Hosts Archives Exhibit
Emporia, KS (10/22/2024) — On Oct. 30 from 2 to 4 p.m., Emporia State University Special Collections and Archives will hold an opening reception for the exhibit "Objects of Interest: Archival Materials from Art to Textile."
Archival collections contain a wide variety of materials that act as a tangible link to the past. This exhibit explores the full range of holdings in Special Collections and Archives, including books, documents, photographs, artwork, textiles, audiovisual media, and more. Visitors to the exhibit can learn about the role these items play in providing historical evidence and how they are preserved for the present and future.
The reception will take place in the exhibit hall on the first floor of ESU's William Allen White Library.
